College Capital Projects
POLICY #: FA 02-04 (formerly CF 02-04)
DATE OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVAL: 09/25/2013
RESOLUTION #: 02-04, 13-7
POLICY STATEMENT: It is the policy of the Board of Trustees to annually review the College’s 5-Year Capital Plan and capital chargeback fund balances. Capital Projects require a separate capital budget and approval from the trustees and local sponsor prior to the start of construction.
BACKGROUND: State financial aid for capital costs of community colleges is one half of the amount of capital project expenditures approved by the State University Trustees. All capital projects require trustee, local sponsor and SUNY Trustee approval.
Policy CF 02-04 was amended in September 2013 to correct its designation in the Policy Manual by moving it from section 7, “Campus Facilities,” to section 5, “Financial Administration,” and by updating its policy number accordingly to FA 02-04.
