College Operating Budget

POLICY STATEMENT:  Since state aid revenues are based on actual enrollment and total operating expenditures, it is the policy of the Board of Trustees to make a final amendment, if necessary, to the budget after the annual audit report is finalized.

BACKGROUND:  The College Administration shall provide monthly budget status reports to the trustees.

Section 602.9 of the Education Law states that the Board of Trustees may increase the total College Operating Budget with the approval of the local sponsor and the State University Trustees.

In April 2020, language in the Background section was updated.
